Hiya connection guide
Connect your social accounts
Choose your platform below. Check the account you authorize and confirm it appears in Hiya. Platform screens and button names may vary.
Start here in Hiya
- 1Sign in to your Hiya creator account and open your profile.
- 2Choose Edit Profile and find Social Accounts.
- 3Choose Add Account, select the platform, then follow its guide below.
Choose the account you want to connect.
Choose platform → Connect → Review permissions → Check saved account
Before you begin
Use an Instagram Professional account (Creator or Business). Professional accounts are public; consider that privacy change before switching.
- 1Choose Instagram, then Connect Instagram.
- 2Read the Hiya information panel, then Continue to Instagram.
- 3Sign in to the intended Instagram account. Check the name before choosing Allow.
- 4Return to Hiya and check the correct profile and Connected label.
Good to know
Personal accounts cannot complete this connection. Additional-user access remains subject to Meta approval. Contact Support if access is unavailable.TikTok
Before you begin
Have access to the TikTok account you want to display.
- 1Choose TikTok, then Connect TikTok.
- 2Sign in to the intended TikTok account; switch accounts if necessary.
- 3Review the profile and follower permissions, then authorize if you agree.
- 4Return to Hiya and check the TikTok name, count, and Connected label.
Good to know
If the wrong account appears, remove it from Hiya and reconnect with the correct TikTok sign-in.YouTube
Before you begin
Use a Google account with a YouTube channel. If you manage multiple channels, check which channel is associated with the selected account.
- 1Choose YouTube, then Connect YouTube.
- 2Select the Google account associated with your channel.
- 3Review the View your YouTube account permission and continue if you agree.
- 4Return to Hiya and check the channel name, subscriber count, and Connected label.
Good to know
Google verification is pending. If an unverified-app warning appears, pause and contact Support unless you are an invited tester who recognizes and trusts Hiya. Never proceed past a warning for an unfamiliar app. A channel with no subscribers can correctly show 0.X
Before you begin
Have access to the X account you want to display.
- 1Choose X, then Connect X.
- 2Sign in and check the account authorizing Hiya.
- 3Review the permissions and authorize if you agree.
- 4Return to Hiya and check the handle and Connected label.
Good to know
X counts refresh at most once within a seven-day window when you return to Hiya. Repeated logins do not trigger repeated count updates. Inactive weeks are not refreshed in the background.Before you begin
Use a Facebook account that can manage the Page you want to connect. Hiya displays a Page, rather than a personal Facebook profile.
- 1Choose Facebook, then Connect Facebook.
- 2Sign in with the account that manages your Page.
- 3Review authorization and select the intended Page when asked. Keep the permissions needed to read its profile and follower count.
- 4Return to Hiya and check the correct Page and Connected label.
Good to know
If your Page is missing, check your Page permissions and selection during authorization. Additional-user access may depend on Meta approval.Snapchat
Before you begin
Snapchat is currently added manually. Automatic follower verification is pending; this is not an authorized account connection.
- 1Choose Snapchat in Add Social Account.
- 2Enter your handle and public profile URL in the fields shown.
- 3Enter your current follower count, then choose Add Account.
- 4Check the saved details. Use the pencil button to update your self-reported count when needed.
Good to know
Manual counts are not automatically refreshed or marked Connected. Enter an accurate count from your own profile.Common questions
How do I know it worked?
Check the platform, account name, and Connected label. Refresh the browser once to confirm the saved account remains. The success popup may close quickly. Snapchat shows a self-reported count instead.
Why does nothing open?
Allow popups for sayhiya.app, then click Connect again. Keep Hiya open while completing authorization.
Why is my count unchanged?
Counts update periodically, not on every page view. Count updated shows the latest successful update. Refresh Counts respects each platform’s update window. If a refresh fails, Hiya keeps the previous count.
How do I change or remove an account?
Use the trash icon beside the account, then Add Account to connect the correct one. Removal can happen immediately, so check the row first. You can also review or revoke Hiya’s access in the platform’s own account settings.
What if authorization fails?
Read the error, check the account and required account type, and try once more. If it still fails, contact Support with the platform, time, and exact error or reference code. Hide passwords, tokens, and private details in screenshots.
